I began blogging about my unique life on a cattle ranch with my husband and our small children as a way to connect with others and remind myself we weren’t the sole survivors of the Apocalypse. For the last several years, we have lived 2 1/2 hours from the nearest town, and it was easy to forget about things like neighbors, paved roads, drive-through coffee shops, and formal education for the children. We recently moved close to a small town in Nevada, and I continue to write about our cowboy adventures from my new vantage point.
Throughout the years, I maintained and improved my personal blog with the goal of eventually selling my work to publishing professionals. Last year, that actually happened! Fun, right? Now, I provide quality copy and photography for Western Horseman and CavvySavvy on a regular basis.
